North Metro Trail Riders
North Metro Trail Riders is an organization that is dedicated to responsible ATV riding along with promoting education, safety and fun.
Our members consist of families, couples and singles of all ages that enjoy riding ATVs and are committed to this sport. Some of our members choose to join us on our monthly rides, others attend our monthly club meetings and some volunteer as Minnesota DNR Trail Ambassadors or help maintain OHV trails throughout Minnesota.
To get a glimpse of what our club is involved in, just browse through our website, download our brochure, or send us an email for more information. If your are interested in learning more about our club, you are welcome to attend our club meeting or join us on a scheduled ride. Please visit our events calendar to see the current scheduled rides or other community events we will be attending.
One of the missions of North Metro Trail Riders is to give back to our community. Over the last few years we have made an effort to donate to charities and organizations in need of help.
Trail Ambassadors are trained volunteers who play a critical role in assisting land managers efforts to provide a recognizable presence on the trails they enjoy while providing a positive and informative role model for Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) and trail users. Volunteer ambassadors are responsible for greeting fellow enthusiasts, educating trail users, giving minor aid in emergencies, and providing useful information about OHV use on public lands.
Our club has 17 Trail Ambassadors riding the trails volunteering many hours per season. If you are interested in learning more about the Trail Ambassador Program, contact your local Minnesota DNR agency.
